Gym: Located on the 5th Floor. You may use the glass doors at the front of 4700, or the door inside the garage. Please do not use studio entrance unless other doors are locked.
Studio: Located on the Ground Floor. Separate studio entrance at the rear of the building, with ample surface parking.
Limited parking available in the front of the building near the shopping plaza. Ample garage parking at the rear of the building; follow signs for Covered/Office Parking, around TGI Fridays, and into the Summit Centre Garage.
Please do not park in spaces reserved for INOVA or other offices. If you park in front of the building, you may use the elevators to come down to the Lower Level.
In order to limit the number of individuals inside the gym, please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to class.

Once class is finished, please exit the gym promptly to allow adequate time for cleaning. You are welcome to sit at the picnic tables under our covered pergola, or in the lobby upstairs to enjoy conversations with new friends!
Only registered participants should be on the floor area. Assisting Caregivers (limited to one adult per child participating) must stay with their child during class.
Caregivers observing class should remain on the hard floor unless requested by a coach.
Food and drinks, other than water bottles, should be enjoyed outside.
Shoes and socks must be removed prior to coming onto the gym floor.
Minimum enrollment required.
Classes with fewer than 3 participants are subject to cancellation or rescheduling. Notice of cancellation or rescheduling will be communicated with at least 24 hours notice.
Classes with no participants will be cancelled within 24-36 hours of class start time.
SANITATION: All participants will be asked to wash hands upon arrival, and as needed during class. Thank you for your help in keeping everyone safe!
SICK CHILDREN: Should be kept at home. Please do not bring your child to class if they do not feel well, or if they have felt ill in the last 24 hours. Leave sick siblings at home.
MASKS: As of 11/27/22, masks are no longer required at emPOWER kids. We support those families and coaches who wish to continue wearing masks. Should the community transmission rate return to medium or high, we may return to mask requirements.
All instructors are CPR/First Aid certified, SafeSport trained and background checked.
Many hold certifications from USA Gymnastics, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and National Academy of Sports Medicine. While all activities come with inherent risk, we train children how to listen to their bodies and asses situations before performing every task.
Our coaches perform safety checks on equipment daily, provide soft landing mats, and work diligently to provide a safe environment for children to be physically active.
Please respect our makeup policy and do not request a makeup class unless it is a qualified absence. We work hard to ensure equity among all our participants and hate to say no.
If your child simply MUST attend a makeup class, you are welcome to register as for a Drop-In class.

Food and drinks, other than water bottles, should be enjoyed outside. Please throw away any trash, and put all books/toys away before you leave the gym. Notify a coach if there is an area of the gym in need of cleaning!
For our emPOWER kids classes for children, we offer Seasonal Sessions of 6-12 weeks, depending on the session. Caregivers purchase the Session Pass prior to the class start date, and sign up for the entire session of classes. Children then attend the same class, at the same day and time, for the full session.
Seasonal Session Passes are only valid for the dates of the session and unused passes do not carry over.
Drop-In Classes are $25 per session. You may enroll in single, drop-in classes once the seasonal session has begin.
