All booking is done online through our portal on Wellness Living. You must book ALL classes you want to attend.
Purchasing a Session Pass does not automatically enroll you in all session classes.
To book session/consecutive classes, select "Book Recurring" and enter the number of weeks you would like to book. Please check your schedule on Wellness Living to confirm your registration for all classes you want to attend.
Coaches are not responsible for booking or canceling classes.

We are on the right after the first garage.
From King Street: Head left toward TGI Fridays and continue around the right to the back of the building. From N Beauregard Street: Turn into the parking lot near TGI Fridays and continue straight to the back of the building.
Please park at the REAR of 4700 King St, in the Summit Centre Parking Garage. Plan to arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled class time in order to limit the number of people inside the gym. There is ample surface lot parking outside of the main doors of the gym, as well as covered parking in the garage. Please do not park in spaces reserved for INOVA or other offices. If you park in front of the building, you may use the elevators to come down to the Lower Level.
In order to limit the number of individuals inside the gym, please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to class.

Once class is finished, please exit the gym promptly to allow adequate time for cleaning. You are welcome to sit at the picnic tables under our covered pergola, or in the lobby upstairs to enjoy conversations with new friends!
Only registered participants should be on the floor area. Caregivers observing class (limited to one per child participating) should remain on the hard floor unless requested by a coach.
Food and drinks, other than water bottles, should be enjoyed outside.
Masks worn indoors, at all times, by anyone over the age of 2.
Shoes and socks must be removed prior to coming onto the studio floor.
All instructors are CPR/First Aid certified, SafeSport trained and background checked. Many hold certifications from USA Gymnastics, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and National Academy of Sports Medicine. While all activities come with inherent risk, we train children how to listen to their bodies and asses situations before performing every task. Our coaches perform safety checks on equipment daily, provide soft landing mats, and work diligently to provide a safe environment for children to be physically active.
MASKS: All participants, caregivers and siblings aged 2+ will be required to wear masks while indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Coaches wear masks while hands-on with children, but may remove them temporarily to give instructions or demonstrate the stations. All adult coaches are fully-vaccinated. Children over the age of 4 should be wearing their mask with minimal reminders to keep it on. If their mask does not stay over their nose, we will send the child back to their caregiver to try a new one. Please make sure to bring extras if this can be an issue for your child.
NEW FOR WINTER 2022: One strike rule - if a Coach has to remind a child more than once to fix their mask, a new mask must be put on or the child will need to leave class for the day.
AIR FLOW: We have installed two Coway Airmega air purifiers in the gym that recycle air at the rate of 2x/hour with industry-grade HEPA filters.
SANITATION: All participants will be asked to wash hands upon arrival, and as needed during class. We sanitize any shared equipment between classes. Thank you for your help in keeping everyone safe!
Please keep sick children home. We do not offer refunds or guarantee make-up sessions for missed classes. Exceptions may be made for participants who test positive for COVID-19 or children under 5 who are required to quarantine (documentation required.)
If you are unable to attend class, please cancel on your Wellness Living account so that another child may attend in their place. Participants who "No Show"/fail to cancel two or more classes on Wellness Living will be removed from the class for the remainder of the session.
Classes must meet minimum enrollment numbers in order to be held. If we do not meet class minimums, we will do our best to reschedule you for another class. Classes canceled due to low enrollment will not be deducted from your account.
We do not guarantee make-up classes due to inclement weather or instructor illness, but do our best to offer equitable solutions.
We know life happens, so families may cancel enrollment for a class through the Wellness Living account up to 48 hours prior, and reschedule during another open class time. In order to continue to offer our flexible scheduling option, cancelations less than 48 hours prior to a class are not eligible for credit or rescheduling. Exceptions may be made for participants who test positive for COVID-19 or children under 5 who are required to quarantine (documentation required.) emPOWER Kids Annual Members may cancel classes at any time without deductions.
Please note: Classes not canceled through our online booking system are not eligible to receive credit. Coaches are not responsible for canceling or rebooking. Availability for rescheduled classes is not guaranteed, and unused Session Passes will expire at the end of the session.
For our emPOWER kids classes for children, we offer Seasonal Sessions of 6-8 weeks. Caregivers purchase the Session Pass prior to the start date, and sign up for the entire session of classes. Children then attend the same class, at the same day and time, for the full session. Seasonal Session Passes are only valid for the dates of the session and unused passes do not carry over.
Pricing for Winter 2022 8-Week Session is $180
Flex Passes are available to buy as a single, 6 Pack and 10 Pack. Members of The emPOWER Foundation may purchase 15 Packs for $250**. Flex Passes do not expire and are automatically shared between Family Members on Wellness Living. They may be used for Child or Adult Classes offered at emPOWER kids.

Families may purchase an Annual Membership to The emPOWER Foundation for $100.
This Membership Fee supports The emPOWER Foundation's Scholarship Fund, which allows families with financial hardships the ability to have their children participate in classes, free of charge. emPOWER kids Wellness Studio covers the Session Pass fees over $100 per child.
