The Whole Child
emPOWER kids is more than a fitness program. We are dedicated to building strong bodies, minds, and hearts. Our curriculum focuses on overall physical well-being, mindfulness, and social-emotional connections with peers. We want every child to feel loved and welcome, free to be themselves. Our program respects every individual and encourages all participants to support peers in their personal growth. Coaches and bring positive energy to class and use language that encourages a growth mindset.
At emPOWER kids, our people are the backbone of our program. We want every coach to bring their whole self to work. Our company values creativity and encourages open dialogue at every level. We strive to foster a culture where each employee feels empowered and motivated to contribute new ideas, effect change, and do their best work every day. When our leaders move on from emPOWER kids, we want them to feel proud of their contributions and take the collaboration skills they gained into wherever life takes them.
Practice What We Preach
We truly believe what we teach our kids. Wellness means health at every level - mind, body, and heart. Work life balance is essential to a healthy life, which is why we support flexible schedules and are understanding of the unique needs of every coach. We believe the experiences and backgrounds of every individual help us grow stronger as a team and shape the culture we strive to achieve.
Celebrate Genuine Wins
While we love to get excited when kids learn new skills, we celebrate the real wins - kids showing empathy, making friends, overcoming fears, sharing how they feel, taking turns, cheering on classmates, expressing gratitude, and all the little moments in between. For our staff, we celebrate the learning moments, the ones that challenge us to stretch and grow professionally.
Commitment to Safety
