The Whole Child
emPOWER kids is more than a fitness program. We are dedicated to building strong bodies, minds, and hearts. Our curriculum focuses on overall physical well-being, mindfulness, and social-emotional connections with peers. We want every child to feel loved and welcome, free to be themselves. Our program respects every individual and encourages all participants to support peers in their personal growth. Coaches and bring positive energy to class and use language that encourages a growth mindset.

We strive to foster a culture where each employee feels empowered and motivated to contribute new ideas, effect change, and do their best work every day. When our leaders move on from emPOWER kids, we want them to feel proud of their contributions and take the collaboration skills they gained into wherever life takes them.

Celebrate Genuine Wins
While we love to get excited when kids learn new skills, we celebrate the real wins - kids showing empathy, making friends, overcoming fears, sharing how they feel, taking turns, cheering on classmates, expressing gratitude, and all the little moments in between. For our staff, we celebrate the learning moments, the ones that challenge us to stretch and grow professionally.
Commitment to Safety
All employees are required to complete SafeSport training, as well as sign our Code of Conduct. emPOWER kids provides training to all employees on safety standards and provides additional training on a rolling basis. Anyone over the age of 18 must agree to a background check prior to employment.
