Calling all FAMILIES who want to participate in class together! This class, centered around yoga, incorporates elements of dance, mindfulness, and, of course, FUN! Yogis will focus on building strength, coordination, flexibility, concentration, and mastering balance. Discover new yoga and animal poses that extend beyond the studio, contributing to improved emotional regulation and overall well-being. Join us for a blend of fitness and enjoyment that goes beyond the ordinary! One adult/caregiver per registered child may participate. Additional adults or children must register separately.
Join us for a dynamic class that spotlights a diverse range of sports and games, providing kids with the perfect opportunity to enhance strength, agility, coordination, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility. Featured sports include soccer, paddle sports, football, dodgeball, wiffle ball, bowling, and more! Our dedicated coach encourages young athlete feedback and incorporates mindfulness and social-emotional learning into each session.
This class is designed for our tiny friends to get those wiggles out! We will focus on moving our bodies in fun, new ways and build gross motor skills. Fit for those who are new to group or class environments, we introduce class etiquette and build social skills. Class includes 30 minutes of instruction, and 15 minutes of exploration.
Caregivers will accompany children for the full duration of class.
This class is designed for our movin' and groovin' friends! We will begin getting comfortable moving our bodies while building confidence in our abilities. Cooperative games will give friends a chance to interact with each other in a safe environment, practicing interpersonal and social-emotional skills. Class includes 30 minutes of instruction, and 15 minutes of exploration.
Caregivers will accompany children for the full duration of class.
This class is designed for kiddos to get those wiggles out! We will introduce more sport-specific skills, and get familiar with the gym equipment. Coaches will lead a guided warm-up and cooperative game with friends, then guide the class to gym stations - tumbling, ninja rig, tumble track and foam pit. We will end with a mindfulness moment, giving children time to share with the group.
Caregiver support welcome/requested as needed to ensure safe participation.
This class is designed for rising or current kindergarteners and younger 1st graders, who are ready to try out the BIG Gym upstairs! We will focus on moving our bodies in fun, new ways and work on basic tumbling skills. Coaches will lead a guided warm-up, cooperative games with friends, then rotate to different gym stations. Over two weeks, participants will use all areas of the Joyful Movement Gym - tumbling course, balance beams, bars, ninja rigs, trampoline track and vault. We will end each class with a mindfulness moment.
This 90 minute class is designed to help gymnasts and cheerleaders prepare for try-outs.
45 minutes of warm-up, flexibility, conditioning exercises, plus 45 minutes of skill building - back-handsprings, jumps, tumbling, and other specific skills requested by participants
Each class during the week will be different exercises and drill stations; register for multiple classes to maximize skill progression.
Intro to resistance training, focusing on overall sports performance and weight lifting. In this class, participants will learn about the importance of strength training, proper form with exercises, and focus on meeting individual goals! Additionally, coaches will incorporate drills for agility, balance, motor planning and coordination. Athletes will work with the coach to develop specific sports goals.

Junior Flippers is for those who have taken classes at emPOWER kids and want to continue building their skills. Filled with fun tumbling exercises, kids will increase confidence getting upside-down: kicking to handstand, cartwheels, pushing to a bridge, rolls on the floor and the bar, and more. Coaches will lead a heart-pumping warm-up game with friends, then practice tumbling and using equipment.
Junior Ninjas is for those who are beginning ninja or parkour classes for the first time. Filled
with fun agility skills, kids will work on movement safety, gain confidence getting upside-down: kicking to handstand, cartwheels, transitional movements, jumping skills, swinging, rolls, and more. Coaches will lead a heart-pumping warm-up game with friends, then transition to our obstacle courses and ninja rigs. We will end with a mindful cool down.
Enjoy a fun and energetic class, filled with positive vibes. Coaches will lead a warm-up game with friends, then take the class through various areas of the gym - tumbling stations, ninja rig, bars and rings, trampoline track and vault. The focus of this class is gaining confidence in our body movements and trying new skills. We will end with a mindfulness moment, giving children time to share with the group.
Ninja in Training is a high-energy, freestyle movement class. Coaches will focus on safety, agility, strength, balance, and basic tumbling. Ninjas will begin with a heart-pumping warm-up and strength-building cooperative game with friends, then practice jumps, obstacle courses and parkour elements. We will end with a mindful cool down.
Ready to Tumble is for participants to work on intermediate and advanced level gymnastics skills. Coaches will lead a warm-up with friends, then build on progressions across floor, bars, vault, beam, rings, and trampoline track. Participants in this class should have completed a previous session of Tumblers in Training, or have previous gymnastics experience. The focus of this class is to work on the technical aspects of basic gymnastics skills and introduce intermediate progressions. We will end with a mindfulness moment.
For our more experienced emPOWER kids, Fearless Flippers is a fast-paced class, filled with more advanced skills. Kids should have strong handstands, round-offs, rolls on the floor and the bar, backbends, etc. Coaches will lead a heart-pumping warm-up and strength-building cooperative game with friends, then allow the participants time to practice a wide variety of skills using equipment. We will end with a mindful cool down.
Prior to the session start date, participants must register for the FULL Session.
Once the session begins, the full session price will be prorated OR you can sign up for each week individually.
